For the person who claims that they 'are not arty, or dont have a arty bone in their body' ... this is the perfect class for you. In this 1 day workshop, you will learn about and create a stained glass suncatcher, using the copper foil method. You will start by selecting your design (from 40 + templates). You will then practise scoring and breaking glass on scrap glass. After selecting your desired glass colours, you will then score and break your template. You will grind, foil and solder all your glass pieces together. All materials , glass and tools are provided. There is a private collection of glass which you can purchase glass from as well. You will take your piece home with you at the end of the day. Prison Break Market have a selection of food and drink vendors, where you will be able to purchase drinks and food. Lunch is a 30min break. Dress code: if you own one, feel free to bring along your crafting apron. Please wear closed shoes, like sneakers or tekkies. If you wear or use spectacles, please bring them along with you. If you have safety goggles, you can bring those along too. Duration of the class is normally from 10am-5pm. Minimum age is 16 years old and we can accommodate up to 10 people in studio. It is a full day of breaking glass and laughter. We do have lots of plasters for those of you who are 'accident prone'.
